National Home Security Month is a national event, taking place in October, which main goal is to raise awareness of the home security importance.
Although the home security is subject of high priority at all time, the purpose of this is event is to remind people, at least once a year, to make general check-up of their properties for “security cracks”. These can involve any area of a home and the help of a professional security specialist is often an indispensability.
The event is sponsored by businesses, charities, not-for-profit groups, and members of the general public. Each year, the organizers and the supporting groups give professional advice on protecting homes and families.
